Butterfly Bedding and Accessories Create a Magical Bedroom

Butterflies are beautiful, graceful insects that children enjoy watching flit around the garden. Unlike some other insects, butterflies aren’t scary or menacing, but rather peaceful, colorful, and sought-after.

This is why many girls adore a butterfly theme for their bedrooms. Since these marvelous creatures come in so many shapes and colors, it is easy to customize the bedroom any way she likes. You could choose a palate of greens, purples, pinks, or blues – butterflies can work with any color!

When creating her bedroom, look for the perfect butterfly bedding that will tie in all the colors that you want to use. Make the feel of the room soft and flowing. You can accomplish this with the fabrics that you use. Think sheer curtains and a canopy over the bed. You could even create a mystical ceiling with draped chiffon.

There are so many ways to decorate with butterflies: you could hang gossamer butterflies from the ceiling, get some butterfly wallies (self-stick wallpaper cut-outs) and have them flutter in different places on the walls. Or you could try your hand at painting large colorful wings behind the bed as a sort of “headboard”.
